The Cod Classic celebrates the opening to Cod season and is an iconic event on the Australian fishing calendar, one not to be missed. December 1st , 2nd and 3rd will see the twin towns of Yarrawonga/Mulwala come alive with fishos descending on Lake Mulwala - the home of the Murray Cod!

An amazing prize pool that includes including 5 boating packages will be given away across the weekend.
A staggering total of 128 boating packages have been given away throughout the history of the Cod Classic
Designed for the family with all levels of fishing skills catered for, everybody has a chance of winning one of the many great prizes on offer whether fishing from boat or bank, using either bait or lures. Those that are lucky enough to register either a legal-sized Murray Cod or 45cm+ Golden Perch go into additional draws to win extra great prizes.

Entry fees

Adults $90 pre-paid / $100 on weekend and Juniors $45 pre-paid / $50 on weekend.
This includes a souvenir stubby holder, a Wilson lure for the kids, entry into numerous major lucky door prize draws, complimentary Sunday arvo BBQ and the promise of a great weekend. 

The “Fishing and Outdoors” Expo will be a main feature with the chance to grab a bargain not to be missed.
